1. Who is responsible

2. Information we handle

Do not enter another person's identifying or health information unless they know about it and you are authorised to do so.
3. Accounts and sign-in
Apple and Google process information when their sign-in service is used. Apple may supply a name only on first authorisation. If supplied, Beavo stores that name so it remains available later. Users can edit the Preferred name in Beavo.
4. Calendars and device features
Opening a pre-filled Google Calendar event sends event details to Google. Direct Google Calendar insertion is used only after the user grants the requested calendar permission. Beavo's Apple Calendar route creates an .ics file for the user to open or share; Beavo does not directly read an Apple Calendar through that export route. Calendar providers process information under their own privacy terms.
5. Service providers and sharing
Beavo uses Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore for sign-in and cloud synchronisation. Google and Apple provide sign-in or calendar services when selected. Providers may process information outside the United Kingdom using safeguards recognised by applicable law. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a properly managed business transfer.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share pregnancy-related information with advertising networks.
6. Legal grounds
We process information to provide features requested by the user, with consent where required for optional permissions, for legitimate interests in keeping Beavo secure and reliable, and to meet legal obligations. Pregnancy-related information can be sensitive. Where applicable, it is processed with explicit consent when the user chooses to enter and save it. Consent can be withdrawn by removing the information, disabling the feature or deleting the account, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
7. Retention and deletion
Guest information remains on the device until it is reset, app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Signed-in profile and app data are deleted when in-app account deletion completes, except for limited security, fraud-prevention, legal or provider records that must be retained. Support records are kept only while needed to resolve the request and meet legal obligations. Retention is reviewed according to purpose, sensitivity and legal requirements.

8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and encrypted network connections. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect access to their Apple or Google account and should never send passwords or authentication codes to Beavo support.
9. Rights and complaints
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw consent. Contact ahmed@dolph.uk. We may need to verify identity. UK users can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
10. Children
Beavo is not directed at children under 16. A person below the age required to consent to data processing where they live should not create an account.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when Beavo, its providers or the law changes. The updated effective date will appear above. Material changes will be communicated in the app or on this site where appropriate.
