1. Provider and agreement
Beavo is provided by Beavo Ltd ("Beavo", "we", "us"), at 1 Dudley Park Road, Birmingham B27 6QP. Contact: ahmed@dolph.uk or 0121 092 9283. By using Beavo, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Beavo.
2. What Beavo provides
Beavo provides general pregnancy, labour, birth, postnatal and newborn education for partners, together with practice activities and planning tools. Features can include visual guides, week-specific illustrations, quizzes, scenarios, breathing sessions, a hospital-bag checklist, personal dates and calendar exports.
3. Sources and clinical decisions
Beavo summarises information in plain language and links to NHS source pages. Guidance and individual circumstances can change. The linked source and the user's maternity or clinical team remain the source of truth. Beavo is independent and is not endorsed by the NHS.
4. Accounts and guest use
Users may be able to continue as a guest or sign in using Apple or Google. Users are responsible for keeping their sign-in account secure and for information entered into Beavo. A user must not enter another person's personal or health information unless authorised to do so.
Guest information is normally stored on the device and may be lost if storage is cleared or the app is removed. Cloud synchronisation depends on internet access and third-party services and is not guaranteed to be continuous.
5. Calendar features
Google Calendar and .ics exports are convenience tools. Users must check every date, time, location and note against information from their maternity team. Beavo is not responsible for a missed appointment caused by incorrect information, a declined permission, a calendar-provider failure or a failed import.
6. Acceptable use
Users must not misuse Beavo, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with operation, upload unlawful or harmful material, impersonate another person, reverse engineer protected parts of the service where prohibited by law, or use Beavo in a way that violates another person's rights.
7. Intellectual property
Beavo's branding, original text, interface, illustrations and software are owned by or licensed to Beavo. NHS names, content and linked materials remain the property of their respective owners. Linking to a source does not transfer ownership or imply endorsement.
8. Availability and changes
We may maintain, change, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, provider changes or product improvement. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Important saved dates should also be kept in the user's normal calendar or records.
9. Account deletion
Signed-in users can request deletion through Profile > Account > Delete my account. Details are provided on the Account deletion page. We may suspend or close an account used unlawfully or in a way that threatens users or the service.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, Beavo is provided for personal, non-commercial use and we are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on general educational content instead of professional advice, inaccurate user-entered information, or events outside our reasonable control.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available where they live.
